The Club Lions d'Earlton is the only club in Ontario that has been registered as a French-language club since 1982.  We have 21 members who are divided into two generations that are superbly complementary in fulfilling the mission and vision of Lions Clubs.

Community involvement

Since 1982, we have helped with building our community center, 2 fourplexes for seniors and the Health Center.  Each year we have donated to six hospitals in Northeastern Ontario.  In 2019, we made our final disbursement to the «Des Soins Près de Chez Toi » project which fulfilled our $50,000 pledge.

Activities in 2022

January Spaghetti Dinner
February Luncheon, in conjunction with the Earlton Recreation Committee at their Winter Festival
April Spring Fair for merchants who are encouraged to sell their products
May Mega Garage Sale & BBQ
June In less than 30 hours we sold 50 strawberry & rhubarb pies that were made in our new center. We also had a garage sale
September Monster Bingo and the annual raffle which includes a Ford F150 hybrid truck and cash prizes. This year there is a total value of $92,248.92 in prizes.

The success of our projects is a direct result of the support we have from our community and as always, the benefit of working together for good causes warms our hearts.
